Guidance Software Earns 5-Star Rating in CRN's 2016 Partner Program Guide and Recognized on CRN's Security 100 List

PASADENA, Calif. Guidance Software (NASDAQ: GUID), makers of EnCase®, the gold standard for digital investigations and endpoint data security, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has awarded Guidance Software a 5-Star rating in the 2016 Partner Program Guide. Guidance Software was also named on CRN'S inaugural 2016 Security 100 list in the endpoint security category.

The 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating recognizes an elite subset of companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs. To determine the 2016 5-Star ratings, The Channel Company's research team assessed each vendor's application based on investments in program offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programs and resources, sales support and communication.

The Security 100 list recognizes the coolest security vendors in each of five categories: Endpoint Security; Identity and Access Management and Data Protection; Network Security; SIEM and Threat Detection; and Web and Application Security. The companies in CRN's Security 100 have demonstrated creativity and innovation in product development, as well as a strong commitment to delivering those offerings.

Guidance Software is honored by CRN with a 5-Star rating in the Partner Program Guide and included as a top vendor in the Security 100 list for the company's innovative endpoint data products, which are trusted to protect critical information of corporations and governments and have been deployed on an estimated 25 million endpoints.
